We made these jingle up by using some ideas from our Road Safety collections of poems.

Today Jacob's Mum Andrea taught us how to make a poi. First we scrunched newspaper sheets into a ball.We got a bit of string and tied one knot at one end and a double knot at the other. We covered the newspaper ball with fabric. Here are some photos for you to share in the fun we had making them. Enjoy !!!!!.

Today we celebrated Armistice Day in school. The whole school gathered on the field and we had the choir singing In Flanders Fields. We observed a 2 minute silence in remembrance of the brave people who fought in the war.

We checked out the cultures in Room 13 and we created bar graphs. We have the following cultures in our class- Middle Eastern, Maori, New Zealand European, Chinese, Indian, Samoan, Tongan, Thai and Cook Island Maori.

This is something I saw at Rainbow's End. It is one of the rides.
The two parts turn up and around. It is made of Lego, rubber bands and a motor with a battery. I enjoy doing Robotics.- Jacob
